Today, we proudly celebrate the dedicated custodians who help make our school a safe, clean, and welcoming place for students, staff, and families each day.

From early mornings to late afternoons, their hard work often happens behind the scenes, but their impact is seen in every classroom, hallway, cafeteria, and playground. Their commitment, care, and pride in our school do not go unnoticed.

Custodians make a difference every day! Thank you for all you do to support our students and staff and for helping our school shine. We are grateful for your dedication and service!

Mrs. Tab’s 5th graders donated well over 100 cans of food to the “Cans for a Cause” food drive! They earned a pizza party and a little downtime for their generosity. Way to show that General spirit!🧡💙

🌟 Surprise Attendance Day was in September 11th!🌟 Our kindergarteners had a little extra fun today! 🛝☀️ They enjoyed some outdoor play as part of our Surprise Attendance Day celebration! 🎉 We love seeing our little Generals show up, learn, play, and make memories together! 💙💛

📚🌙 Family Reading Night is BACK! 🌙📚 Lake Road’s ESP/21st CCLC warmly invites our elementary students and their families to join us for a fun-filled evening of stories, discoveries, and reading adventures at the Lake Road Library! 💙📖 🗓️ When: The last Thursday of each month ⏰ Time: 3:30–6:00 p.m. 🎉 Kickoff: Thursday, September 24! 🎁 Reading Rewards: Students can choose a prize from our treasure chest at every Reading Night! Students who read with a family member for at least 30 minutes will also qualify for a drawing to win a special prize basket at our May Family Reading Night! The basket will include gift certificates, games, and other surprises!

Our Book Fair is coming to Lake Road October 19–23! 🗓️📖 Get ready to discover new adventures, meet amazing characters, and find your next favorite book! ❤️ Every book is a chance to spark imagination and build a love of reading! 🎉 Dot Day Guessing Game! 🎉 Congratulations to Everett Gream for making the closest guess! 🥳👏 Everett guessed 600 dots… and there were actually 584 dots in the jar! 🔵🟢🟡🔴 Way to use those estimation skills, Everett! 💙 Great job to everyone who participated and made our Dot Day so much fun! ✏️⭕️ 584 was the magic number! 🎉

🧡 Cans for a Cause! 🥫 Let’s come together to support local families facing food insecurity! Every can and non-perishable food item makes a difference. ❤️ 📅 Donations accepted September 21–25 🥫 Canned vegetables, fruits, soup, beans, pasta sauce, boxed pasta, rice, and other non-perishable foods are all welcome! 🏆 And there’s a little friendly competition! The class that collects the most cans will earn a PIZZA PARTY! 🍕🎉 Let’s fill those boxes and show our community just how much we care! 💙🧡 Every can counts! 🥫❤️

Attention Parents! All students of Obion County Schools now have the availability to participate in Telehealth Services. We are currently only offering mental health appointments, with general health services coming soon. We only have telehealth machines at Obion County Middle School, Obion County Central High School, and South Fulton Middle/High School. Students in the elementary schools will have to be transported to the closest middle or high school to take part.
